Carter only wore this for a couple of houses and he was done with it. So stinken cute though.

Preston was Spiderman everyday for about three weeks! He watched the movies almost everyday too.

Carter barely sat still long enough to take this picture, and Preston wanted to to trick or treating so badly with his cousin Deacon.

Update

Time has been flying! I can't believe it's been over 2 months since I last wrote. The kids are growing up so fast I can't believe it. Preston loves to counts he has most of the additions memorized now. Like 2+3=5 and so on. Very smart! Being smart also comes with a super attitude. Very subborn. The other day I was telling Preston not to do something and since he didn't want to listen. He made the Spiderman spinning a web sound and said, "I just spun a web over your mouth mom!" Little stinker. Got to give him the imagination credit though.

Carter sure is at the fun stage. He makes me laugh. He'll run into you on purpose and knock himself over and just laughs. Church however is not that fun. It's hard to keep them both still. One of us ends up in the hall or the nursery with both of them. He loves taking bubble baths, throwing stuff down the stairs, climbing over, under, on top of everything, and climbing all over uncle Jake. Who by the way is still living with us.

Catching up!

So the reason there are no pictures or anything else is because our camera is currently broken. Sorry! We have cute pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes and everything. I am so sad. Preston was of course Spiderman! He wears the costume almost every day now. Carter was a pile of leaves and hated every minute of it. We took the kids to a couple of houses in are neighborhood and then took it off.

Carter is so cute! I was just playing around with him and I gave him a wrapper and told him to go throw it in the garbage and I pointed over to it and he went and threw it in there and clapped for himself it was so stinken cute! But now he is throwing everything in the garbage even when I don't tell him to. So I always have to be checking the garbage every couple of hours to make sure nothing important is in there.

A miracle

This is Preston singing I Am a Child of God. I try to get him to sing it for people all the time and he never does. So here it is at last.

Carter's year old picture

So I don't know if we'll ever get his year old pictures done. So I did this by myself so he had something. I had appointments to do family pictures and everything, but stuff kept coming up. I had to cancel 3 times so I gave up for now.

This is so stinken cute! Preston and Carter are playing Toy Story. Preston does this a lot. He jumps off couches, beds, laundry baskets, ect... and says ,"to infinity and beyond."

Montana trip

Me, brooklyn, my mom, Aleesha and we are missing Jessie who was not able to make it up this last trip to Montana. We were going to go fishing on the pontoons so I was not perpared for this picture my shirt is actually a t-shirt that Brooklyn pulled back and I had my swimming suit on.

Big mile stone

Carter is officially walking as of this last weekend when we went up to Montana. I will get some video of him tomorrow. He looks drunk! He is such a climber too. He climbs up on their rocking horse all by himself, couches, you name it he climbs it.

They are so stinken cute! They love taking baths together.

Getting cleaned up

So this swimming place is about 20 min away from are camp site. It was way fun and a great way to get cleaned up while camping.
This is Preston going down the curvy one all by himself! He wouldn't let me take him down with me at all. He's so brave.

This is me and Carter going down the curvy together. I had to lift him up so he wouldn't go under the water. He loved it! When we'd get to the top to go down he would start kicking his feet and get really excited.

This one is for you Mom! Do you miss this face? He had so much fum camping. It was fun having him there.

The after math

Camping up at imigration

This is a picture of the family camping up in Idaho. We had a lot of fun! The kids stayed up late every night because they didn't want to be alone in the camper and we didn't want to go to bed early so here we are. I think this was the second night we were there. By like the last two nights I was ready to go to bed earlier with them because Carter did not sleep well at all. So I was getting pretty tired and I ended up drinking a Pepsi everyday. I was doing so good too! I hadn't had one for like three months before that. I haven't had one since I've been back though so I'm back on track.

The big tree that fell

The guys and girls all took turns chopping down this tree with an axe. The guys cut down one before this one but I got there right when it fell so I didn't get video of it. It was fun to do it old school without a chain saw.

Big guns

Look at this big guy just go at this tree, he was tired from cutting down the other one. This one was a little bit bigger around then the other one. He made it look so easy. I swung and missed the first time. Luckily no one got that on video.

The Montana family in town

Some of my family came to town to visit and this picture was impossible to take because Carter wouldn't sit and be cute he wanted to cry and get down. This is my mom and my youngest sister Brooklyn. The visit seemed really short, but we had a lot of fun shopping and getting a makeover together. My only brother Jake moved in with us when they came down to visit. He has been here two weeks already!

Lots of fun!

He was smiling at Great Grandpa Porter in this picture. He was having so much fun opening all the presents from everyone, probably because Preston was in his room playing with all his cousin instead of trying to take them away from him. Preston sure does enjoy playing with all of them though. I guess that's the joy of having another brother instead of a sister. It was a great day and I can't believe a whole year has gone by.

Birthday

Carter had his first birthday on the 15th! He was so cute digging in the cake. I can't find the plug to download pictures so maybe when we get back from camping I will have more time to do this correctly. I'm still trying to find time to figure this thing out. Summer is really busy for us.

That's some good cake!

He loved his cake, I put some gummie worms on it and had to take them off because he kept trying to swallow them whole. It was funny, he looked like a baby bird. Look at those bright blue eyes. I never thought I would have a blue eyed kid. He looks like his brother with the spikey hair. (The date is wrong it was on the 19th that I put this on)

The family

Jarrod and I are excited to announce that we just celebrated our 6 year anniversary June 21, 2008! We have two beautiful red headed boys named Preston and Carter. Preston is 3 and has the smirk on his face to prove it. Carter is almost 1 and has the toilet paper all over the bathroom to prove it.
